  Il viaggio verso Atlantide si è concluso pochi giorni fa.
  Siamo riuscite a fare qualcosa di concreto per MOAS e ci siamo riuscite grazie all’aiuto di tante persone, che ringrazio ancora di cuore. Questa è solo una goccia in mezzo al mare ovviamente non sarà Atlantis a risolvere la situazione in Syria, nè a impedire naufragi, nè a salvare l’uomo da se stesso, ma confido che l’attenzione, seppur piccola, che ha portato Atlantide possa ricordarci che si può fare qualcosa, basta volerlo e volerlo tanto.
  
  I pacchetti sono stati composti uno ad uno, e spediti uno ad uno con grande felicità dell’impiegata delle poste che ormai è diventata anche lei parte dell’equipaggio. Ho passato 4 giorni meravigliosi con i miei amici, ho impacchettato, ho sorriso ( dio solo sa quanto ne avessi bisogno), ho impacchettato e riso di nuovo.
  Cos’ho imparato da questa esperienza:
  – è difficile, ma possibile;
  – restare fermi sui propri valori;
  – non si hanno mai abbastanza buste;
  – ci sono cose che puoi controllare e altre no;
  – coordinare tante persone è più difficile di quello che si pensa;
  – condividere è fondamentale;
  – scrivere la parola “crowdfonding”, sto ancora lavorando sulla pronuncia;
  – se scegli per il bene alla fine tutto andrà per il meglio;
  – non cadere preda delle mancanze altrui;
  – piego di Libri, o Livorno o di Limone… a piacere insomma;
  – dalle chiacchere davanti ad una tazza di tè si può arrivare lontano.
  
  Tutto è andato bene, mi mancherà stare su Atlantide.

  The journey to Atlantis ended a few days ago.
  We were able to do something concrete for MOAS and we succeeded with the help of many people, whom I thank a lot again. This is just a drop in the sea, of course we’ll not be able to resolve the situation in Syria, nor to prevent shipwrecks, nor to save man from himself, but I trust that attention that brought Atlantis, can remember us we can do something, just if we want it and want it so much.
  
  The packages were made one by one, and sent one by one with a great happy Post employee who has now become part of the crew. I spent 4 wonderful days with my friends, I packed, I smile (God only knows how much I needed it), I packed and laughed again.
  What have I learned from this experience:
  – It’ s difficult, but possible;
  – Remain firm on its values;
  – never enough envelopes;
  – There are things you can control and others not;
  – To coordinate so many people is more difficult than I think;
  – Sharing is essential;
  – Write the word “crowdfonding” I’m still working on pronunciation;
  – If you choose for the good in the end everything will be fine;
  – Do not fall prey to the shortcomings of others;
  – From small talk over a cup of tea you can get far off.
  
  Everything went well, I will miss being on Atlantis.
